Spring Has Sprung! Hopefully, anyway. In Colorado, especially in Teller County, it’s hard to know for sure. We’ve certainly been able to enjoy some warm, sunny outdoor adventures, yet snowstorms continue to blow through. Spring is a time of year you can’t pin down. It is a time of change and newness. It’s exciting to see the new chutes of grass popping out of the ground and buds ready to burst on the trees. Then a storm rolls in and it feels like winter again. That can be the case with the seasons of our lives as well. Things may start to move and progress for us, then something seems to set us back. But we are resilient, just as the Earth is resilient. Know that we are transitioning between cycles and trust that we are moving forward.

Personally, I am acknowledging this season within Mountain Air Yoga. I’m learning that businesses go through seasons of birth, growth, death, and renewal- just like me, just like the Natural World. Mountain Air Yoga was birthed and is now in its early stages of growth, while I am in my early stages of growth as a yoga teacher and entrepreneur. It’s easy to get caught up in where I want to be rather than where I am now. It’s frustrating to navigate new territory when I’m learning as I go. Thankfully, I have my support system and my Yoga tools! I’m learning it’s ok to ask for help, and it’s ok to not be ok.

Cultivating compassion for myself and the process helps to shift my perspective. I’m not saying it’s easy, by any means. There have been times of debilitating self-doubt. Grounding, centering, and coming back to the present seem like a daunting task at times. But I trust that I am moving forward toward my purpose. That may sound like grandeur, but it’s really become a kind of compass for me. As long as my sense of purpose feels stronger than the discomfort of change, I know I’m on the right path.

We’ve had a few cold spells and setbacks but looking out and seeing the Mountain Air Community grow around me fills me with such joy! Thank you for joining me and my business on this journey.
